Layla was born in Los Angeles, California to Iranian parents. At the age of five, her family moved back to Tehran, Iran where she spent most of her elementary school years. As an Iranian-American, she is incredibly grateful for her childhood years in Iran.

Her family returned to the US, first to California and then Texas. As a first-generation American who has lived across diverse communities across the US, Iran and UK, Layla has a deep love for culture, history, psychology and what makes us different and the same as people.

Layla celebrates diversity of background, ethnicity, thought and experience. She enjoys leading and building multi-cultural and cross-functional teams with a positive impact on people’s health, personal empowerment, and relationships. She has a passion for human connection and believes through personal responsibility and individual development we can unlock our true potential and live a happy, purposeful and peaceful life.
